This Waitrose is a wonderful supermarket. It's a little pricy, though only on certain, rather unpredictable items. They sell a great selection of produce, health products, snacks, baked goods, meats, wines, kitchen tools, applicances, and electronics. The focus is certainly on the supermarket sort of items - the cookware and electronics are a little sparse if you're looking for serious comparison shopping, but in a pinch they'll certainly do.
Some of the best things:
- everything is fresh
- the staff are helpful and numerous
- great brand selection
- the great "voting" chips for charity
Less good are the high prices, but honestly, it's worth it for a treat of semi high-end groceries. I highly recommend the bread, as well as the chocolate selection!
